A Bit About the Wine Cellars

The Wine Cellars of the Northwest was established by John Fiorino and Dave Tetreault. As wine enthusiasts, they made their way around the Idaho, Washington, and Oregon wineries, touring, tasting, lending a hand during crush, and generally being wine geeks. They got to know many of the winery owners and winemakers and became a part of the Northwest wine community.

They had come to love the wines of small wineries that were not available throughout the Northwest, so they decided to import and distribute the wines themselves.

When starting their company, John and Dave relied on John’s strengths of communications and public relations, and Dave’s background in sales and marketing. They utilized passion, hard work, friends and family (generous with their offers to help unload vehicles, make deliveries, etc…) to grow the business.  Dave has since retired and our new partners are Chris Fiorino and Susan LaFond.

We have been blessed to be able to have talented support staff, delivery drivers, customer service representatives and warehouse staff who continue to work together to bring the finest portfolio of wines to retailers and restaurateurs throughout the Northwest.
